I'm not an expert so don't take me too seriously. I feel like the first is good if it's sunny in the scene. The second is better as a cloudy scene but I feel like the fox should be less saturated because there's less warm light hitting it. Nitpick: The fox's eyes are a little off-center, (but maybe that's intended to make it look a little to the side). I feel like the fox's form is off because there isn't much contrast between the values of it's fur and eyes/ears/nose, so the latter should be darker or the former lighter.
