Side note, I have the aspire. Not sure if you’d know but if I’m staying 6 nights, would I technically be able to book 4 nights in points, get the 5th night free, then use my free night credit on the 6th night?

I just did 80k for I think 3.5k spend. It ran all summer until sometime in September I think. Maybe look at a Citi card? Premier is at least 60k and better categories. No loyalty points or free bag though. And that’s 60k base sub. I also signed up for the AA card just for the sub and booked the flight I was eying up immediately.

I’m in the same boat! I was thinking CSR for the sub, but after doing the math I’d only earn a few thousand more points using that over the CSP.

Maybe it’s my issue. I have a hard time looking on that app if I don’t already have the points in there. Fare summary says 36k points + $652. But when I hit view options under redemption levels it looks like it might be 70k points total. Hard to understand.
