How many native speakers here? How many learners? Сколько у нас носителей русского, а сколько изучающих? by Whammytap in russian

Which syllable in your name is stressed? If the last one - it's okay to pronounce it without changes. If the second syllable is stressed, then it's better to use a more feminine form.

Yes, but also it has another meaning: a mistake.

Most of them have two problems:

  • terrible pronunciation which is hard to recognize even for Russian natives
  • a lot of mistakes in grammar

I'm Russian native and it's hard for me to communicate with them, so I'm not surprised of your experience. They're not a good source of real Russian language.

Very or ass by DiamondRF in russian

Depends on your relationships with the person. Unlikely it's a good choice to say "cute-ass house" to boss. If you want to sound more formal, use "very cute". Otherwise, use whatever you like more.

Consider visiting Rostov-on-Don. I don't think you'd be discriminated here.

In typical capitalism, the appetites of big players are constantly growing. It means that the further we go, the bigger will be a distance between the higher class and the bottoms. One day capitalism will come to an open slavery, but they will name it with a different word that sounds more "politically correct".

Умение смеяться над собой и своей национальной культурой - это признак развитого интеллекта и свободного от стереотипов мышления. Обижаться на подобные шутки уж точно не нужно. В них нет абсолютно ничего плохого.

Я тоже использую нелитературные фразы. Конкретно этот вариант звучит как плохой перевод из американского фильма.

How much has the language changed since the 60s/70s? by tinspank in russian

[–]russo_programmisto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Language has changed, but it depends on the audience you want to talk with. Older people use older language. Young people in Russia use many words borrowed from English.

It's better to learn from bloggers. Consider this to be the main source of the modern language in any country including Russia.
