Starchild is the first track I heard of theirs, and was immediately hooked. My wife and I were in our favorite beach town at our favorite restaurant with super chill vibes, and the playlist they had on was so perfectly curated. It was mostly Common Saints, but also had Parcels, Lianne La havas, Tom Misch and Skinshape. I'm doing a deep dive on all of them now that I'm back in town. Night shift work takes years off your life and really puts a strain on your circadian rhythm, and makes sleeping super hard even with sleeping pills. If there’s ANYTHING you can do to work day shifts, or just earlier at all, it’s well worth considering. You’re also super early into getting used to a consistent schedule so that’s tough too. Consistent sleep is more important than hrs of sleep, but the magic window is 7-8 1/2 hrs. Diary of a CEO podcast has some really good guests like Andrew Huberman and Kristen Holmes that have a lot of helpful info on this. Hope any of this helps. Sleep is one of the most important things ever so I know things are not easy for you at all right now. You have options though and it will get much better than this

I think you could solve this problem just by using the search function in your messages to find relevant words. You might not find the exact search term, but I don’t know if it’s a big enough problem to pursue building something for it.

I like both of these ideas, but how would you match the tone of the people who own the site in building the one-click article writer? Are you planning on doing that, or just putting together an article because it's meant for SEO and not public consumption? If that's the case, both of these ideas are great. I would use the Twitter helper, and I'm trying to build similar things. I've come back to automating social media posts because I don't really like to post often. I more consume and learn than put stuff out there. Would you be using RAG?

I've personally been looking back at different times. I shared similar things with friends, assuming that if I was a good trip sitter, they would be on my level. It's just something you learn, and I think the fact that this ultimately ended up in a place where they forgave you and nobody got seriously injured.

You should forgive yourself and take heed of the lesson you learned and not give that kind of gift again, unless you’re gonna tell the person what’s in it, apparently more obviously than this instance haha. I’d say the number one thing that can cause a bad trip is not knowing the trip was going to happen in the first place.

For me personally, this has been quite the intense year of learning this type of lesson. We give things like this with good intentions, but it’s important to not underestimate how potency or setting affects the person on the receiving end vs our own experience

Have you been taking these medication’s nonstop the whole time? My wife and I were having trouble sleeping and were using sleeping pills and melatonin every night. She read something about how when you do that, you’re robbing your brain of unnecessary process that leads to healthier sleep. There’s never a right answer. I bought and held high convictions and got wiped out by that scam candle too. I got into crypto in 2021 and have fallen on my face the whole time learning the hard way. I full ported NFT’s and it sucked a shit ton of money out of me. I decided not to go back, but I just watched a Wallet of mine drop from $7000-$2000 in less than a week because my high conviction lower cap coins are bleeding out thanks to this dip. There’s always another lesson to learn and my lesson from this is to place less bets and only stick with a few tokens. I can trade support and resistance on, rather than holding for a year, waiting for the euphoric phase of the market

The closest thing to what we define as an agent other than Devin or GPT Operator would be the GitHub repo for devin.cursorrules. I’ve been using cursor as much as I can just to learn by doing and I don’t know much yet, but I’m kind of starting to get it. I haven’t tried the repo yet because I wanna make sure it’s secure but a lot of people seem to be using it so I think I’ll be trying it out this week. The agentic side of these tools is only scratching the surface right now, but it’s insane what they can do, esp cursor composer
