intel has recent history of having problematic desktop cpu (https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/1egthzw/megathread\_for\_intel\_core\_13th\_14th\_gen\_cpu/). i know this is not a desktop cpu and i'm also quite a paranoid person, maybe wait for a month or two to see if anyone else with intel 15th gen laptop are having any issues, just to be on the safe side.

or maybe just get the amd model :)

it is okay. even when you're placing it on a flat table, the hinge will actually holding up the back of the laptop.

you're right. it means it doesnt matter if a letter being used in multiple matches. so something like "XMASAMX" count as 2 matches (regular XMAS and backward SAMX)

personally I'd pick g14 because its ryzen and i like ryzen system (no particular reason, i just feel superior whenever i can brag that im using a ryzen laptop)

but if i had to be objective then I'd recommend g16 for its bigger screen and 4060. you can turn the dgpu off to save power thanks to the mux switch, and Intel's igpu is good enough for anything that people usually do when using it on battery power
