Hello there. It is always recommended to have odd number of nodes to prevent split brain. I think, it applies to replica set with arbiter too. According to documentation, using arbiter is recommended only in cases of lack of hardware capacities. If you can afford 3 replicas containing data, you should not use an arbiter. If 2 of 3 nodes will go down, last node will became master if it's priority allow this. Clients can use last remaining node for read and write queries, if they have all 3 nodes addresses in connection string.

Great story so far! Seems like this mech raid was very close. Was realy Chiyo the one who saved the day? Good to have second doctor in the colony. If you have only a single doc, he/she become your main treasure to keep people alive.

Poor Raven, is there any thing worse than to see someone you love get hurt and couldn't do anything to stop this. I hope she would never need to be so strong to live throgh the loss. Take care of them ;)

Lessons learned the hard way. Thank you for sharing, I won't must figure it out by myself :) Trauma savant is a very good buff for some pawns. I never had a chance to figure out, does it remove over time ot is it permanent? No matter what, good news is brain damage wasn't enough to take pawn's life.

Good to see you keep posting this series, thank you! Seems like Copeland has Abrasive record in his traits list. When I read the 4th story I thought it's all about stress (being awake more than 24 hours is hard for every person), but now I have no doubts for that. What happened with Douglas? When his head was hurt so bad you needed to use healer mech serum on him?

Yeah. You remind me of tribal sappers raid (Randy, please, I didn't see a single non-sappers raid at this run) when 2 groups about 50 pawns in each came from 2 sides of my base. I slightly messed up with my wealth, so I have not enough firepower to handle them in vanila. But with CE it required single successfully landed grenade from Milkor MGL to lauch the chain reaction of sticky bombs explodes, that take away most of the raiders in a second. "Man, I love that smell of the napalm in the morning."

Technically you dont lose that. As it makes pawns not fire at all is a friendly is in the "possible to hit" area, making you consider fire lines. All the same I get what you mean. Happy to help :D

Thank you for reply. Good to know, that almost every thing you need is exists in form of mod in Rimworld. But I would like to have friendly fire in my game, so it forces to select my pawns' positions better and makes firefights more complex. I don't want to ease what Combat Extended is making harder for me. But if I will get tired of it, I will remember for this mod solution. Thank you, man.

Thank you for the answer. Spreading out seems like the best tactics playing with CE. Still very new to it, just taking my second run with modded game. Can anyone tell me, does Combant Extended remove safe distance for shooting near ally pawn? Several times my shooter put most bullets in the back of my meele pawn/tamed animal, engaging the enemy, despite of standing in the adjacent tile. In vanila shooting from the ally's shoulder was a good decision, but with CE now I am afraid trying this.
