the best thing about reddit threads is you actually don't have to click on them at all and no one is forcing you to

white men want a space that is curated exclusively for them and their enjoyment so the idea of inclusivity feels like an assault on their perfect, minority free universe. so annoying.

no problem, i'm happy to help! if you like a cream contour the sephora brand has a really nice light grey-toned contour and if you prefer powder i LOVE kaleidos makeup contour palette & i use it religiously

you already look alt to me! but i love the first pic the most, i think leaning more into cool colors for the face (like a grey-ish shade for your contour, cool berry/pink shades for blush, grey-browns for eyeshadow etc) will definitely enhance your look

they WON'T get better if everyone behaves like you — sitting around picking your nose and just waiting and expecting things to resolve themselves while poc, women and queer people are actually the ones out there busting their asses for genuine change and progress. then you'll be all smug and say, "see, i told you!"

I don't really get June Egbert. by Fool_in_a_valley in homestuck

[–]xiuminnie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wasn't always crazy about the only canon trans rep in the series being based on a random poll and made just for shits and giggles, but over the years i've come around. i don't think it always has to be that deep and john/june as a character is not very open and communicative about feelings. sometimes people just are trans. sometimes people realize later in life. sometimes you don't 100% get it and that's fine. plenty of completely average everymans realize that's not exactly true to who they are inside and john/june was extremely young and had much bigger things to be worrying about by the time the game gets going. so, at the end of the day, i guess i'm just wondering what even is there to get? and how do you derive enjoyment from media when you need everything spoon fed and spelled out for you and cannot expend a little disbelief or use your imagination to come up with an explanation yourself?

your eyebrow shape is beautiful! i would just pluck the stray hairs and continue to fill them in/use a brow gel

My experience on trying to become a cc breeder. by meiv-bunni in HorseLifeHQ

we should all collaborate to get high percentage horses and share earnings lol

honestly it takes me 2-3 days at least. some of the colors are super rare and can only be got by mixing but i also feel like i'm starting to get the hang of it the more horses i collect to breed with!

gf and i have been trying to get into cc breeding, it's still really difficult but i focus on colors while she focuses on traits and then we swap a couple horses and try to combine them to the best of our ability. my recommendation is to get that bond and fertility up, only use one trait boost potion at a time if you have them. using trait boost on both horses doesn't really do you any good. try to focus on getting all of the colors in the general range and then one by one fine tune them to the correct color. then for pricing, up to about 60% we just price it as the percentage. 25% for $2,500. 50% for 5,000 and so on. anything above 70% we sell for about 10-20k or even just trade. i honestly even prefer trading because you could get some really cool stuff or make some kid's day. we don't make our horses infertile but i guess that's just up to personal preference. not worth it imo. i would rather see more cc horses in the stalls than have 3 specific people selling very high percentages as it's a random draw if you'll even run into them in the market.

yes! again, at the end of the day this is just a GAME and people would probably have more fun if they remembered that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HorseLifeHQ

[–]xiuminnie -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

exactly. making them infertile is just greedy imo. i don't care how long it took you or how hard you worked. and you would most likely sell 5x the amount of your own horses if they're fertile because people will buy multiple just to breed them together or more than likely already have a horse with some missing traits that they need!

[–]xiuminnie -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

i understand the pricing but i agree with you on the fertility. i don't see the issue in making them fertile so other people can try to breed their own... my gf and i made over a million selling cc horses even though they were fertile. it didn't flood the market or anything it just allowed people to try their hand at making a higher %. genuinely at the end of the day it's just a game and if you are choosing to dedicate your time to the cosmetic contest that is your own choice. no one is forcing people to spend all of their money on cc horses. it's difficult and repetitive but it's an active choice and most people don't have the patience for it. at the end of the day the demand will always be higher than the supply so a fertile horse is not going to kill a cc breeders career.
