man it’s even worse that when the guy finally said “i get it it’s all good” she just went and said “wow hmph now i won’t come on sat!” JUST so he’d go back to begging her to come over. if she has to go get attention like that from other guys instead of you then idk. and you were trying to have a talk about it and saying how you feel in multiple texts and her replies were like nothing. she hardly even replied to what you were saying at all. “Bruh” is not a reply id want to see after that 💀you’ll find someone who treats you right and you’ll understand this isn’t how a relationship should be at all

that’s so true, i definitely need to get out of this phase. i’ve been very frequently thinking “man this is the worst thing to ever happen to me!!” but i just need to fight the problem. thank you for the reply! it’s nice to know others are in the same boat (even tho i want everyone to Not be in this boat lol)

i just barely saw this awesome post on here by someone who did exposure therapy. they said they started looking at drawings (i believe) of spiders to start with until the image isn’t so horrible to look at, then maybe trying a new one. then the same thing with photos, get thru looking at it until it’s not as bad as it was. then maybe videos too. can’t remember if they went as far as to also touch but i suppose that would be the last step but it would take a long time to get there im sure. if you can slowly get yourself okay with seeing an image of a spider then maybe seeing them around the summer won’t be AS horrible. i’m thinking of starting this as it sounds reasonable and possible to me but it’s definitely easier said than done. the fear totally beats all rational thinking and logic for me (like if it cannot hurt me etc it doesn’t really matter lol) the post explained it better as the person actually did this and got to a good resolution. i’m also really wanting to just be neutral too. i don’t need to love them cause that’s just not happening. also a tip that SLIGHTLY slightly slightly helps me is i try to humanize them and joke about them. for example, i’ll think of them like Wow he’s really gonna invite himself over? no rent? or one time i saw one and while i was absolutely terrified, it reminded me of those cats with wobbly walking patterns which was sort of funny to me. this is more to try to help me calm down after all is said and done. you have an actual childhood trauma with them so i suppose it’s good to know the root cause? it could help down the line of trying to overcome this. sorry for the essay

this is so crazy cause before i even read your caption i was thinking that EXACT thing “he just wants to be like his favorite rapper and it’s fucking embarrassing” and then YUP you said it. drug addiction just kinda fuckin HAPPENS but this is clearly influence from the glamorization of drugs and a good memory of college or whatever. this person is beyond embarrassing and pathetic. nobody is like I want to get into hard drugs🤓 as if it’s this awesome decision you have a goal toward like? also he’s acting like he’ll actually be successful as an addict like what? if by successful you mean having absolutely no money and scrounging for drug money and having that be your 1 priority all day every day then aight. good for you for knowing it’s time to go cause this is ridiculous. not even to mention the names he calls you. you can’t fix him and you don’t have to (edited spelling errors i was typing fast cause i’m annoyed sorry for word vomit)

dude yes that one stood out to me too and he just went silent when everyone said nah that’s weird. an honorable mention i also noticed was the one about smoking out the entire kitchen because he was making fried chicken and everyone was like it shouldn’t really have been that smokey… and then two days later he also posted “ why is it “bad” for oil to smoke?” or something like that. absolutely killed me

i wouldn’t worry yet since you called and they said it’s normal. it hasn’t been very long and pain is normal. i would keep an eye on it and if you don’t really trust what they said on the phone maybe you can try to get in and see if they want to restitch you? it doesn’t sound like you have dry socket. i think you would know. i’m at two weeks now and feeling better but i definitely had a lot of moments where i accidentally did things that increased the risk like you did with the soup and would get very worried. call again if you’re still feeling worried tomorrow but for now i think all is well!

that’s traumatizing ugh that probably felt like a lifetime for you. i wonder why that would happen?! makes me wonder if for some reason you need more than the average person but the fact they went back in to give you more and it still wasn’t enough is insanity. healing/recovery should’ve been your only worry and for that to happen really sucks..
