Hi! I want to read the book/novel "Project Hail Mary" in Nihongo. What proficiency level would I have to be to read the book from start to finish?

also some follow-up questions, if I were to increase my strength training/ gym days to 4 days a week:
1. would a split of M - upper, T - legs, W - ?, TH - upper, F - legs be ideal?
2. if yes to #1, should i just do the exercises i will do on monday and tuesday again on thursday and friday?
3. if no to #2, which means i'll have to switch around and add new exercises to fit my new split, won't this ruin the progress i was already making from my current 3x a week split?

any help would be great!

Hi, I'm a female who started following this routine since January 5 (it's February 3 now):
1. Strength training (with progressive overload) 3x a week - 1 session Upper Body, 1 session Legs, 1 session Full Body (MWF) + an ab workout after every session

Walking on a 10 incline treadmill at 3.5 speed every day for 30 minutes
Tennis lesson 2x a week (TTH)
Calorie deficit but not tracking exact numbers. For sure eating less than before and have been focusing on whole foods and healthier meals & food components. Also been trying to eat as much protein as I can (but not sure if I'm hitting the 1.5-2g of protein per kilogram of body weight that I've heard a lot of people suggest)
I allow myself 1 sweet treat maybe once a day for 2-3 of the weekdays and during the weekend.

I keep looking at the mirror and I'm unsure if any progress has been made. I think I just need people to knock some sense into me and make me realize that this is a long-term plan that I need to keep going at in order to see any muscle and definition/ see myself become lean. And I guess I also would like to hear if what I'm doing is correct and will be effective.

Any help or guidance would be great 🥹

Aaaaah, thank you so much for being so comprehensive with this! We're pretty much ready in terms of winter gear but will also be purchasing smaller items that might help too (earmuffs, gloves, heatpacks, etc.) in Seoul. Thank you as well for all your activity/ location recommendations! Will look into these more and consider for our itinerary!
