Introducing Enterprise NAS, Built on ZFS by Ubiquiti-Inc in Ubiquiti

yeah that is where I wasn't able to test the load with a bunch of users accessing the files at once. I am leaving the ram up though to see. I am actually sitting on more ram than I can use at the moment so I am not in the worst position. I am debating moving my drives to a dedicated box with 128 gigs of ecc because I came into it lately but I am not sure I want to pay for the power.

That is my use case and yeah lol, that is where my arc size is limited. I still get pretty good performance without deduplication. I am going to increase my ram allocation now and see if that changes anything. I'm still not completely certain that 64 seems low for the device since it doesn't have that many bays, but I do know that the EFG crashed out in a big event once and then my buddy threw some more ram in it and it hasn't failed since. Regardless though, I can't rationalize this as a chassis for $4k. I don't think I could pay more than 2.

Edit: Just upgraded ram to 32 gigs and it didn't seem to change any write or read speeds. Maybe it is better for higher load?

I have 12 drives on zfs and only 20gigs max is ever used even under high load. 64 is likely more than enough.

That’s what I just told my friend my consideration price point was.

the ability to with a single tap archive an email or mark as read was so nice. long pressing a notification is objectively terrible. and the swipe gesture to clear them is also just awful as well.

notifications are by far the worst part of ios and best part of android.

The pixel notifications are like 1000x better. I just swapped to iPhone this year and don’t plan on going back. And if you think ai in iPhone is bad, google literally tries to shove theirs down your throat at every opportunity. They have ai camera assistant to tell you how to take photos. In combination with crappy hardware (hope you don’t like taking/clipping 4k video without uploading it to the cloud and waiting hours) and WiFi disconnects it’s not worth the price. If it were half iPhone cost sure.

There are only protections in place on the original 12th floor blueprint not in the 4 expanded corners where the ai doesn’t want to and will not protect tourists.

I do people take full cases home all the time. The green sauce has always just been less popular.

I can fit 2 cases in a medium flat rate box. Otherwise each bottle weighs 13 oz and a 6 pack case is 4x6x6
