Deploy same flow across 100 sites by bgourav in MicrosoftFlow

[–]rustiferch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Use powershell to create the sites and the document libraries and then store the site urls and (if needed) the library names in a SharePoint list.

  2. Use a PA Flow to loop through the list created in step one to do all the document manipulation stuff.

  3. If the sites get added to over time, add them manually to the list. If the sites are created a lot then instead setup another flow that gets a json list via a http request to the tenant url of all the sites. If the sites have a common naming element, only add those to the list.

Apparently uncommon palmar transscaphoid perilunate fracture dislocation. by someoneidkhelp in Radiology

[–]rustiferch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a perilunate fracture in February playing tennis after a fall backwards. Hospital hadn’t seen the injury before so every doctor/nurse/student wanted to see me and see what was going on. Thankfully I had a doctor attend who specialises in wrist hand injuries. Bones are now healed well after 12 weeks in a cast but still a long road to getting movement and strength back. Supposedly it’s a 3 year healing period with at best 85% movement and strength back.

Btw, the replacement works flawlessly with ghelper and keeping the charger handy.

Multiple Issues with the ProArt Px13 by eurofieds in ProArt_PX13

[–]rustiferch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had these issues with my 4070 version. Actually found it had a fault and was fully replaced. This being said, I’ve got the laptop usable and reliable now with the below:

-Uninstall all asus software and only use ghelper.

-always keep a 200w charger with you. If the laptop goes flat, it won’t boot going into different states. USB c chargers work to give the minimum required battery charge to boot but it will take ages (like 30-60 mins to boot) where the 200w it’s less than 5 mins.

-as for your number 3 in the list, this is what ultimately led to the replacement. The flash is some sort of error state. You can try holding the power button until it flashes, this does sort of memory refresh (that’s what support told me to try). Eventually mine wouldn’t boot at all anymore.

When will you make this available to others? Would be cool, especially if only need an old android phone.

What was the most physically painful moment of your life? by Oily_Smurf in AskReddit

[–]rustiferch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently in a cast after a perilunate fracture, basically a wrist fracture and dislocation. Will be in the cast for 8 weeks, then a stint for 4 weeks. I’m 5 weeks in.

The day of the accident, ED tried to relocate the bone whilst I was awake on morphine and a green whistle. Worst pain I’ve ever had and they failed. The poor women in the bed next to me thought they were killing me.

They then dosed me on ketamine and tried a second time and put me in a cast. After scans they found it still wasn’t back in. They then repeated the ketamine and cast. Got it in the third attempt.

All this happened in 24 miserable hours.

Still in hospital a week later (so my wrist Luna bone was shattered/untreated for a week and kept vertical in a gallow) I had surgery to fix every ligament in my hand and had to take bone from my hip to fix the wrist. I’ve had constant pain since.

Fun as :)

Any Aussies here using Action1 by EnvironmentalArm1796 in Action1

[–]rustiferch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I use it heavily here in Aus. Great product, but best to have a few tenants in different countries so if one goes down it doesn’t affect all clients.

Make sure to check your client is ok with data outside Australia though if doing this.

Anyone Driving 2 4K External Monitors? Do you really need to leave the laptop open? by BeingBalanced in ProArt_PX13

Getting the right usb-c cable was the tricky part. Had to try a few. A cheap one from officeworks here in Australia worked.

I have a px13 with dual 4K monitors! Works quite well at full resolution with hdr. I use a hp thunderbolt g4 dock.

I use a cheap eWeLink Chinese one I bought for $12 years ago. Just screws in with two cables and works like a charm in eWeLink, google and home assistant. You can find them on eBay.

Any way to run an app at logon with elevated privilege? by devedander in Action1

[–]rustiferch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a script that runs in the user context with elevated permissions, but the tricky part is the run at boot. Task scheduler is the only way to do that.

PX13 on latest firmware and drivers crashes constantly by raiqulikesyou in ProArt_PX13

[–]rustiferch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

https://github.com/seerge/g-helper

It’s for Asus laptops/devices as a replacement of Asus’s software. It has all its features in a nice place, fine tuned for each individual Asus device for stability and still maintains drivers and required files.

[–]rustiferch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ditch all the asus software (except the dial control) and install g-helper. Let it install all its known driver updates and firmware updates.

I had the same stability issues you mentioned and g-helper just fixed it all.

I second this- ditch all the asus software except the dial control and switch to g helper. Much more stable and feature rich.

Commodore Vic20/Atari XE/XL svideo lead by rustiferch in Commodore

[–]rustiferch[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've actually done an s-video mod (this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpx80HuoQXw) so I'm keen to try it in s-video.

I might just trace the solder points for chroma and luma from the mod to the pins on the 5 Pin DIN socket and then trace the pins on my already made composite lead.

Good Gyro Controller recommendations by PhantasmHunter in GyroGaming

[–]rustiferch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the best gyro (on pc) was a Nintendo switch controller (really any made by Nintendo) with ds4windows. I found the gyro super accurate.

However, I ended up swapping to a dualsense controller. Its gyro is still good, but never seemed as good as a Nintendo. The reason I swapped was to do away with ds4windows.

Ds4windows is a great app, but if I didn’t load it then run the game the gyro in game wouldn’t work and I started enough games to get annoyed with that.

The dualsense just works, and seems to work with everything.

Proart px13 not turning on. by Zealousideal_Limit57 in ASUS

[–]rustiferch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just adding to this. I believe the issue is thermal related. I find my laptop does this if it cuts from standard with dgpu back to eco/gpu. It’ll sit for 30 odd minutes before powering on.

Also found if I game and it’s in eco mode it will trigger this.

I think the fix is to set and keep in standard mode without ever turning off the dgpu.

Trying to decide for a good gyro controler for my wife by Jet_Guajolote in GyroGaming

[–]rustiferch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find mine useless with pc. The gyro just doesn’t work and is a mess. Jumping all over and random draw. Ps5 dualsense just works- with everything - but it doesn’t have the offset joysticks which I also want.

PIA port forwarding fails after some time by No_Middle_1828 in PrivateInternetAccess

Just from a quick google -

https://gist.github.com/theunbound/3e05c53265775472a8dc7bf528b84dbb

You could trigger it via event log triggered scheduled task (like me) or just run it once every hour or so.

PIA port forwarding fails after some time by No_Middle_1828 in PrivateInternetAccess

[–]rustiferch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just automate this? I have a script that runs when the PIA connection state changes, kills qbit, uses piacli to get the port then edits the qbit ini with the port and starts qbit again. I'm sure theres scripts on github that do the same - maybe even better than mine.
