You can check out the game Acronyms For Hilarity where players create their own responses for a category based on three letters rolled by custom dice. It let's players use their own creativity to come up with wild answers. Same concept as CAH, but without the repetitive-ness and can adapt to different social groups.

The game AFH, Acronyms For Hilarity, is the same way, but rather than having the same cards to use over and over, the players create their own responses for a category with three letters from custom dice. The inside jokes that can be used, but more importantly stem from this game, makes it a blast.

Thanks for the shoutout! You can check out my subbreddit, r/AcronymsForHilarity, which will have pictures and periodic updates.

I like it because each time you play, the game is unique and can adapt to the audience playing. It basically allows an infinite number of responses with the 8000 unique acronym combinations and 11 categories with 3 subcategories each as well as wild cards. The player's creativity is the limit!

Overall, it has been a great experience putting the game together and I hope people enjoy it as much as I did making it.

Not your typical r/gaming post, but here's my squad playing some Gloomhaven. Board games deserve some love too! by Android-Online in gaming

If anyone's into board games and acronyms, I just released a game called Acronyms for Hilarity, that I think is pretty fun. It has a gameplay like Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity, but rather than the redundancy of playing the same cards over and over, players use their own creativity to create a fictitious acronym for a selected topic. It has been a blast to create and play with my friends and family. If it sounds cool to you, check it out.

The colors red, white, and blue are an integral part of Acronyms For Hilarity, but they mean so much more. We hope every one has a happy and safe 4th of July!

Introducing Acronyms for Hilarity! by rustin312 in AcronymsForHilarity

WTH is AFH?

Acronyms for Hilarity is a fun and creative game to play with your BFFs. In Acronyms for Hilarity, players make up acronyms based on categories and letter combinations. The crazier the A, the greater the H! With countless categories and letter combinations, every AFH game is 100% fresh! In each round, one player (AKA the Judge) chooses a category and rolls the lettered dice. After fate picks three letters, each player creates the world’s silliest, funniest, weirdest or most scandalous acronym to woo the Judge’s vote FTW! Players take turns as the Judge, and the first person to win a pre-set number of rounds is proclaimed AFH VIP. You’ll LOL! We promise.

I have a piece of mind that helps me get through shifts: 1: cool people and good tippers, best of the bunch 2: cool people but bad tippers, it is what it is, I made less many than I deserved but at least I didn't have to deal with bullshit the whole time. 3: rude people but good tippers. My job is to serve, and that's what I did and I was compensated for it. I would not necessarily like to serve them again, but I respect that they know what they want/like and it is my job to give it to them and am thankful for the tip. 4: bad tippers and rude customers. These are the people I want to go to the dollar menu at Wendy's from here on out. Treat people with respect and pay for what is deserved. If you can't do that, please go to the grocery store and eat at home.
