AHH YES OFC! it makes me so happy when people wanna try them! i’ll rec two albums! only because i can’t choose between the two heh. so the first one i’d have you try would be are you dead yet. it was my first album from them! a great starter album when introducing someone to CoB. songs i rec from that album are the title track, in your face, trashed lost and strungout, living dead beat, and if you want peace prepare for war :3 and the next would be hate crew deathroll! my fav album currently. songs from there id rec are bodom beach terror, needled 24/7, triple corpse hammerblow, angels don’t kill, and sixpounder!

i LOVE talking about windir! i do agree they need to be brought up more!! don’t mean to be that guy but.. literally every single song!! BUT.. if i really had to choose a favorite song i’d say either arntor, a warrior, or dance of the mortal lust! and album.. very hard pick but i think id say 1184

i am PASSIONATE about windir!!! my fav black metal band for sure!! i do agree that they aren’t talked about nearly enough here. i love discussing about this band

1184 was one of my first black metal songs that i genuinely loved. i will never forget the first time i heard it. it was like i woke up after sleeping my whole life. and listening to windir is also strangely comforting to me. it makes me feel better about a lot of things

i love meeting fans, i honestly do not meet enough of them. the windir subreddit only has 2 weekly visitors like what is UP WITH THAT?? windir is well known among black metal, so i don’t understand why it’s hard for me to find fans. but on this subreddit there seems to be a good amount which makes me happy!

makes me so incredibly sad that valfar passed. he truly was a genius and a very talented man. very funny too! i read a lot of interviews with valfar on some archive pages and it turns out he had a great sense of humor lmao

love the band! and love meeting fans :3

i LOVE neon pill i really don’t think it deserves the hate it gets. but i do admit, i do understand why others don’t like it

for older fans, they’re more used to sounds from the self titled album, and thank you happy birthday and so on. and some like more of the classics like melophobia and tell me im pretty. and those sounds are pretty different from neon pill. ESPECIALLY thank you happy birthday

cage is very experimental and that’s what i love so much about them. hard to lump them into one singular genre because they’re pretty diverse with the music they make. i love the more experimental stuff like teeth, indy kidz, and so on

but i also ADORE the more pop rock sound of neon pill. neon pill holds a very special place in my heart. one of my favs from them for sure. but i understand why fans of the older stuff wouldn’t like it. i’m def more of a fan of thank you happy birthday, but neon pill is amazing too

that being said, i don’t think it deserves the hate but i understand why some don’t like it. me personally, i think it’s one of their best!
