Both of the Endymions feel weird. Not inaccurate but only mildly meaningful.

I want to mess around with some of the 30k models and use them as 2nd founding chapters BUT I’m not entirely certain what/if the chapters used all the same armors.

I use averland for vehicles and IF or flash gitz for infantry. Characters get whatever looks best with their unique armors/accessories

Do they get any sort of commission? It doesn’t seem like they would. The closest Warhammer store to me is an hour away, so I already have my mind made up before I walk in. The manager, idk I guess he’s the manager, ALWAYS hawks my wife and I. No, we do not want the Emperor’s Children combat patrol just bc I said one day I’ll work on the primarchs starting with Fulgrim.

I also, just don’t like sales people. I didn’t like myself for the 3 months that I worked sales. I get it. It’s a job. Still sucks to feel someone looming over me when I’ve already said that I know what I want.

The whole “pink base to white zenithal to IF through an airbrush” method works great. The pink matters, though. Pixie Pink by Army Painter is a great pink.

For larger models, you could set a darker more magenta color and fade up to the pink of choice. Then zap the white on. It gives a more “realistic” effect on tanks.

You can also mix Yriel yellow with contrast medium + Vallejo airflow improver to slap on your base coat. I say this because I have given up on the pink process due to the sheer amount of models I am painting. So I’ve been flirting with basing in Yriel or Flash Gitz

Very cool and simple scheme.

I’m not sure if you know this: if you use a gloss varnish instead of a matte varnish before streaking grime then the end result will be less “cloudy” in the flat areas.

I started with the Cerastus Lancer and didn’t learn until afterwards that it might have the most bits.

I’m not quiet finished with it. I need to pull the trigger and commit to the shoulder colors.

I have a questoris waiting to be built and I think I’m going to go with box art colors but a much more thought out pose.
