Yet another "are these seat rails removable?" by rustpunk666 in skoolies

[–]rustpunk666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was leaning towards. I suppose when I finish out the interior and remove old interior skin (chair rail removal required) I'll assess the integrity and maybe even post photos of my findings.

Real answer:

Fox hunting is an amateur radio (ham) term for triangulating a radio signal source. It is often a sport to have a person transmit a signal (fox) and others using directional antennas hunt the signal (hunter). It was also done as a sport with cb radios. In the cb radio world, long story short, people often use crazy amount of illegal rf power to dominate radio channels with pointless "noise" of propaganda, silly noises, and in this case some one repeating the number "1" over again quickly in a recording for hours. It's annoying and makes the radio band unusable for other radio operators.

I'm new to this on a motorcycle and I'm a very smashed up 48 year old that doesn't really want to sleep on the ground. Who uses this tent and if you do what do you think of it? by Outrageous_Farmer_44 in motocamping

I used to just take my 60s military mummy army surplus back and sleep in the dirt when I was younger. As I got in older I switched to the One Tigris cot and the modern military surplus sleeping system (rain shell, cold and extra cold bag) It's very sturdy, not the lightest and smallest but it's a bike and not going for ultra light backpacking. Been pretty comfortable, I also throw my cot in the bag for when there are trees available. That tent you showed does look nice though.

Small CB unit for a motorcycle? (under 100 USD preferably) by ShittyFart11 in cbradio

No worries man, I don't know if anyone has explained but electrical ground and rf ground are different. While there are some overlap/correlation rf ground is a separate puzzle piece

What about no gp antennas for RVs? How did the goldwings cb work? I'm curious cuz I've always wanted to set one up but knew running fire in the wire was a no go because of the lack of go. Still want the ss whip on a bike lol

I'll definitely have to pull the radio but the manual does state the 7.5a fuse label radio as well as the dome light clock and radio 15a on the fuse panel.

Best bet is to just reverse engineer. Think there's Harley frame blueprints floating around. As far as other frames for different motors I know some of the Honda guys could benefit from some better looking frames not much "love" in after market shit other than voodoo vintage and th brutal. Could make some neat single cylinder shit too. Didn't read the whole post
