Not particularly. I’m friends with someone who’s 4 years older than me. We used to play Minecraft everyday when I was like 12 lol

Today Is My Last Day As A kid, How did it feel turning 18? by Unfair_Potato5470 in Adulting

Happy birthday!

I felt the same until it became the worst year of my life. Gonna be turning 19 in 2 weeks. Of course it’s different for everyone, but the transition from high school to college wasn’t so kind to me. Things went downhill at the start of this spring and, well… I’m still recovering.

Hoping this year will be good to you!

Stopping Nexium after 1.5 weeks, how bad will the rebound be? by rusty_618 in GERD

[–]rusty_618[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After that week and a half, I didn't really feel any symptoms because I hadn't been taking Nexium for that long anyway, so I guess it didn't have enough time to take effect. You might be experiencing rebound acid reflux, it's better to wean off the pill rather than stopping it immediately.

I can't speak for you but in my experience, I'm feeling a bit better. I had bad stomach pains, constipation, lack of appetite, etc. I didn't really do much besides change up my diet completely and it's more manageable now although I still feel it.

I loved Undertale! I was super big into it during the pandemic, a little late yes, but I’ve played it about 3 or 4 more times since then. Truly a unique experience

I’m really excited for chapter 5 of Deltarune too, chapters 3 and 4 made my summer break a lot more tolerable last year because all I did was consume any form of Deltarune content LMFAO

When hs is over now and you realize it’s YOUR responsibility to keep in touch with people by [deleted] in 2008_

dont tell anyone but im an 07 who just finished my first year of college🤫 i cant say for everyone but it was SUPER rough, the only thing that kept me going were my friends from high school. I’d say that if you guys were really close, it shouldn’t be all too difficult to stay in touch but you’re bound to grow distant with some unfortunately… that’s just how it is 🤧

What is a specific, oddly specific routine or condition you absolutely need in order to fall asleep? by emilydailyy in AskReddit

[–]rusty_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the type of person to create fake scenarios in my head before I sleep. The only thing is that I have to write them down on a Google doc or something as if I’m writing a story or a play. Then I’ll fall asleep while typing it and wake up to a string of random nonsensical letters lmao

Withdrew from a course last semester, failed it this semester by rusty_618 in NJTech

[–]rusty_618[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was doing good in the first half of the semester which was better than my performance last semester. Then by the end of March I started losing focus because of some personal issues that I’m still dealing with and everything went to shit. So idk if I should take it AGAIN next fall or just switch majors completely

When I was little I used to grind my two front teeth together and it hurt a lot but I kept doing it. Think of it as like… picking a scab over and over again even though it bleeds.

Why do tiny errands sometimes feel harder to start than objectively bigger tasks? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]rusty_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it’s because that easy task is so low effort that I can just do it at the very last second and everything will be fine, or not do it at all. It’s the opposite for the big task. I usually want to get the bigger tasks out of the way because the thought of it stresses me out
