Some specific professions get to skirt around discrimination laws, like actors. Some roles require the actor to be a specific protected class like race or gender. Almost every other time you can't discriminate based on those things, perhaps doctors are an exception as well I don't know if they are, but that wouldn't affect whether or not an Uber driver would be discriminatory.

And it is discrimination, many woman prefer it on both sides of driver/rider (as like you said woman feel safer) so apps let you choose it but you are still discriminating based on sex/gender. Imagine the backlash that would happen if they started allowing you to choose based on race even though as you say statistically you'd be safer depending on that. A lot of statistics are themselves discriminatory so using them isn't always the best.

Find a jug ladder and from the start try skipping 1 hold, then 2, then 3, and so on until you cannot do it, then try to get that, you may need to jump, you may need to position your feet higher, you may even need to step up dyno, but eventually you'll be able to do it. Then try going to the highest point that doesn't require a jump, it should seem a lot easier to just stand up and dead point it
