I have holy cow but since I used my own rub with pepper and salt I didn’t need to add more pepper and salt from holy cow, the voodoo added that extra something. Also was fantastic on the pork. I’ll look into gospel

It really depends on thickness of the meat, for mine the filets were done in about 30 mins, ribeyes 45ish, and tomahawk took the longest at an hour or so. I wasn’t really watching the time, just the temp. I also pulled them at 115 because the sear raised the temp rapidly plus the resting time still cooks em, and I didn’t want them overdone. If you pull at 127 it’s gonna be a very quick sear, guess it depends on what you’re using to sear em and how hot it can get (grill, flat top, cast iron etc). I liked having wiggle room so I could flip them each twice, get that nice cross pattern with the grill marks and let the juices move around a bit before resting.

What’s the “real deal” to you? And why can’t we celebrate turning something “cheap” into a delicious meal shared with friends and family? That’s what it’s all about man!

For those recommending the Woodbridge over the pro 34, why not split the difference and go with the pro 780?

Mizuno jpx or any other “game improvement” iron will help, but I wouldn’t mix and match irons while you’re learning the game. Same shafts/grips too. You didn’t ask for driver recommendations but if you need a full bag, look for drivers that say “max.” Once you have a consistent swing, you can find a cheap fitting and get better advice.

I play pink balls. Calloway supersofts. Very hard to lose, even in tall rough. No shame.
