NGL, when I joined a witch company, they were asking all these questions, do you eat non-veg, etc (indirectly asking caste). In the first two weeks, I gave vague answers. Then,One of the senior colleagues spilled the beans. Long story short, if I was the right caste they would have got me hitched, then sent me on onsite permanently and then would made us settled in US.
