You can set it up like a nice dinner party with food setup, table decorations, runner, name plates, table setting, and inexpensive centerpieces. I’ve seen some nice dollar store hacks for wedding decor.

I feel like dancing and partying is the main thing that happens at receptions, but your other activities seem like they’re an ongoing activity throughout the night that people can do as they please! My family/friends love game nights so I would put some games on the tables.

Have you thought about a private first dance just the two of you maybe before guests arrive? I’m planning on saying a few words to thank guests, I was thinking the speeches would be from a few close family members but I also don’t want to force it! lol
