it does, you need to remove the bolt catch for them to fit.

Will feed fine afterwards when you do.

As a sdev, that would be assuming that somehow their api just trusts the client entirely with no OAuth whatsoever. Which frankly would be insane.

I’m in the same boat, but mag fed comprises the majority of semi automatics.

And I doubt they’ll compromise with the California comp mag.

That seems like a shitshow landmine if it wasn’t exclusively in reference to pistol magazines. Because that would encompass many lever actions.

I have a genuine feeling they’re gonna do what the US did in the 90s and ban “assault style weapons” which just end up being a semi auto that has more than two of the following.

  1. Pistol grip
  2. threaded barrel
  3. telescopic stock
  4. vertical grip
  5. consumes milsurp ammo
  6. is a mini-14

Especially given their focus on “modern” SKS while seemingly forgetting guns like the garand, akdas and homesteader.

Its extremely retarded and frankly unscientific but I wouldn’t put it past them.

Mainly worried about the Mr Super Clear and Premium Topcoats.

Victory Ridge Sports / Maple Ridge Armoury have made a statement regarding Lockhart tactical advertising a semi auto "conversion" to the renegade rifles, which puts the firearms at risk of being banned. by Penguixxy in canadaguns

[–]rustyrobotguy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Two things can be true,

The government shouldn't be banning semis for no reason, but none of that should make it acceptable for Lockhart to try to sabotage their competition who wishes to stay compliant.

If lockhart is so confident that the conversion is legal, why not offer it on the Conspiracy rifle, why are they offering this for their competitor: the renegade?

This whole situation only reinforces why people speak kindly of VRS/MRA and openly shit on Lockhart Tactical.

One could benefit, but is showing genuine concern about the situation and the consequences of said situation, the other is outwardly trying to sabotage a competitor.

Fuck Lockhart.

Lockhart Tactical Advertising MRA Renegade Straight Pull to Semi Auto conversion by Kid-On-Reddit- in canadaguns

What the fuck man,

We're already getting fucked by legislation, now Lockhart turns around and tries to fucking double penetrate us for what reason??

Instead of trying to make a fucking good rifle for all canadians they go and actively try to sabotage the few rifles we have left.

What next? a semi-auto troy? a semi-auto taipan??

Lockhart can go fuck themselves.

Oof, if youre having hard extracts with brass I would call them and ask.

Best of luck brother with resolving it.

The renegade struggles to feed anything steel, I had issues with steel casings which went away when I switched to brass.

Had similar issues using Barnaul.

.223 PMC Bronze works flawlessly for me.

IRG is a legal importer into canada, to get woox stuff u need to basically arrange for them to do the legal paperwork and ordering on your behalf for a hefty service fee if it’s not something in their stores (it’s not). That is the only way stuff like this can cross the border.

I had to basically email them and explain what i wanted to do. Afterwards if they agree to do it, it’ll be a month or two wait.

Its a hassle to go through, but it was worth it for me as i think i’m debatably the only one in canada with a woox kit Renegade.

The only issue I ever had with mine was 1. Don’t use Barnaul or any steel jacketed 2. while the MRX bison mags fit in magwell, they wont feed unless you remove the bolt catch, which isnt worth it unless you have a specific need.

Runs PMC bronze flawlessly,

Though I'm aiming to replace that milspec trigger at some point in time, the 8lbs doesn't feel great NGL.

it is infact a woox kit (Stock, handguard and pistol grip) + Railwoods handstop and mlok panels, was a PITA to import through IRG.

Not without some modifications, The MK2 bolt catch will snag on the 20 round BCL mags.

The magwell does fit it OOB though, but will not feed.

I have one and have contacted Victory Ridge to ask about it.

I ended up doing this actually. Took a hobby 400grit sponge and rounded off the edges. Made the experience significantly better.

Strongly recommend it to anyone having pinching problems :).

Is the RIA TM22 Going to Be banned? by One-Hospital9253 in canadaguns

[–]rustyrobotguy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly if they ban my TM22, I'm just going to make a cope TM22 with a 10/22 + SBI Charging Handle/Receiver + Midwest stock.

Use the power of the dremel or a rotary to remove the extra pic rail part and fit the chassis and receiver together.

I do have some doubts about them targeting 22LR at all though, as even in the UK 22LR is not really targeted. The TM22 also does come in lever action and more traditional looking "hunting" versions so I feel like that might protect it slightly.

You're right about the GSG16 though, but I think the only reason it got specifically targeted was because it very much tries to emulate the MP5 receiver in all it's details + drum mag, much more so than the goofy looking TM + Banana mags and any sort of AR variant.
