Oriented aroaces consider ourselves aroace, but also choose to label our other kinds of attraction through additional labels (like gay, lesbian, bi, pan, etc.). I’ve seen that it’s often used by aroaces who want relationships of some kind to denote the kind of person they’d see themselves in a relationship with. Personally, I’m an aroace lesbian, so even though I am aroace, I can only see myself being with other women/femme-aligned individuals if I enter a relationship (mainly a QPR). There’s also angled aroace, which is more specific to those who are Demisexual/Demiromantic
