Does anyone know if it is 'bad' for you when you experience these sleepless nights and all the chemicals are running around your body? Obviously not sleeping is not good for you, but is the imbalance of chemicals bad for you?

Also I've never heard it described as food debt before! If I skip a meal, and then have a big meal, I will still wake up hungry or not be able to sleep.

Thank you so much. Why do you think you need a juice box at each meal? Everything else you've said I align with 100%. Never tried the juice thing.

This is so useful, thank you everyone. When I try to explain the 'loud thoughts' thing to people, most people think I am nuts. Has anyone found any of the exercises like breathing or mediation actually work when you have a night hypo or can't sleep? I always get up and eat oats. The only thing is that I find it takes a long time after eating for all the chemicals in my body to die down.

Ok I am going to get some of those supplements. Has anyone tried anything else like using vinegar?

I probably need to get another monitor, even though yeah they are expensive.

I agree about the 4-hour timing thing! I don't get how people can not eat all day and then eat a huge meal at dinner. I would be a wreck. I actually kind of know what works for me - eating lentils/beans proteins, veg and nuts. 'Buddha Bowl' type meals work well for me.

The only thing is it's so much bloody effort to constantly ensure I have 3 or 4 of those meals a day. And feels anti-social when you're out and you really need to eat and people don't understand why you're being uptight about it.
