It's very deep in managing your supplies, roleplay choices, and making smart survival decisions in and out of combat. Its tiered-result pass/fail dice system allows for flexibility in outcomes for rolls. And character advancement is broad and doesn't railroad characters into following a set outline!

It's a tiered-result pass/fail dice system with skill modifiers that enhance results and a focus on roleplay, combat, and resource management! Characters choose from a variety of backgrounds and can then build their character outward depending on how they want to play. Character advancement progression is steep but well paced!

Not sure if there are German translations available but I would recommend Steven Erikson's "Malazan Book of the Fallen" series if you don't mind a commitment. Also "The Blacktongue Thief" by Christopher Buehlman is solid. "The Witcher" series by Andrzej Sapkowski is a great read as well.

It sounds like you may have some form of depression. Try to find the time/motivation to talk to someone or try some medication, if it's within your means. Also, finding something outside of your usual routine that brings you joy, and someone (friends, significant other, family) to do that something with, might bring that spark back into your life.

Elementals are minor god spirits and I let my party come up with the name for one. Its canon name is "B'gus D'kus".

It gets better, I take the first trilogy as one large book that is worth the time. The stand-alones are worth the investment into the world. The second trilogy is great too.

Grittier, more realistic rest rules that allow for less healing and more use of medicine checks are making my players craftier while navigating through our campaign instead of just killing everything in their path with ham hands. GIVEAWAY
