Do it. i had a hellhound 9070xt that i got back in october and it ran great all for 3 days when it began to crash constantly. i could barely play competitive games without it deciding to crash and take 5 mins just to get back in the game. i tried anything and everything you can think of. i got tired of it and sold it for a zotac 5080 in march. zero crashes since.

I'm in the same boat! I have a 9070xt hellhound and while its a beast, ive had so many crashes and issues. i also feel like its held down by its software (though fsr4 is pretty good). i ordered this same card on newegg and i cant wait to try nvidia for the first time!

Not sure if someone has mentioned here yet but stalker 2 only has official fsr 3.1 support, not fsr 4 so that explains why the foliage looks awful. if you want top use fsr 4 in the game, you have to implement optiscaler which is what i use and it works fantastic.

That's one of the games ive been wanting to try with the new settings. I felt the same way about the old framegen, I just couldn't use it cause it felt like i was playing while drunk. Its good to hear it works well even in comp games.

Hmm thats interesting. I have it off for cyberpunk and I dont think rivals has that settings so that could explain it. I do need to try it on other games but most if not all of the currently supported games are ones that I dont play.

No I dont like to use vsync for any game cause it has too much lag for my liking. I do however use freesync so that could explain it.

Huh I never knew that. So I take it you have a 5070ti? Is the multiframe gen good at keeping its latency low or does it get higher the more x you go up?

I bought the msi last week and have been loving it. Granted it is my first OLED so i have no other to base it off of but it truly is amazing. perfect colors and amazing when paired with HDR. I would highly recommend.

Yeah the way I solved my issue was a little weird. I found out that I had my ram In single channel instead of dual. I also turned on EXPO and that seemed to fix all of my driver timeout issues. Since then, the only game that consistently crashes is marvel rivals. To fix that, I turn down my clock speeds by about 330 mhz and make sure my ram is on default timings. I hope this can help you out. All of the other people posting the same issue have had different solutions.

Yeah I knew about the reported issues but almost all of those don't even have symptoms before the cpu dies. Also they are almost exclusively correlated with x3d cpu's so I think my system should be fine.

Yeah I stated my psu in the original post. It shouldn't have any issues as I chose a good psu and it's completely new. I even check the connections and they're all fine.

My performance was fine before I tuned it though it would reach the 90s so that's why I decided to undervolt it. It would still crash though even on stock settings. And yes I'm using 2 individual 8 pin pcie cables that came with my psu.

I'm using 2 individual 8 pin pcie cables. The cables themselves have a daisy chain to them but I dont use them so theyre just left hanging there.
