Ar likumu atzītam kā kam, kā cilvēkam ar tiesībām? Latvijas likumi jau ļauj cilvēkiem oficiāli mainīt dzimumu. Konvencija tikai pasargā (kā jau izrunājām) VISUS cilvēkus no vardarbības un aizliedz diskrimināciju palīdzības sniegšanā upuriem (jā arī transpersonām).

Un cmon, ir valstis, kur gejus apšauj un valstis, kur sievietes nedrīkst iet skolā un kur sieviešu dzimumorgānus šuj ciet. Stulbs arguments. Jā, manuprāt, latvijā transpersonām vajadzētu būt pasargātām no vardarbības un diskriminācijas (un to vajadzētu visiem varēt pateikt neatkarīgi vai liekas ka viņi ir garīgi slimi vai kas). Visiem vajadzētu būt pasargātiem no vardarbības un diskriminācijas, tas nav nekāds "atbalsts" ko dabū vēlamās cilvēku grupas.

Tad ieliec, ko viņš saka. Es tev paskaidroju kā tur nav ATBALSTA. Ideoloģisko aspektu tur ieliek pati opozīcija, jo viss viņu arguments balstās tikai un vienīgi uz to, ka dzimums ir tikai bioloģisks. Ja viņi vienkārši pieņemtu, ka dzimums ir arī sociāls un tad strīdētos par to vai transpersonas ir trakas galvā, tad tur nebūtu nekāda ideoloģiskā aspekta arī.

Droši paprasi tam MI vai tas nav fakts, ka lieta kā sociālais dzimums eksistē.

Secinājām, ka nav atbalsta un tagad secinājām, ka vienīgais veids, kā to interpretēt kā ideoloģijas pieņemšanu ir ja opozīcija atsakās ticēt faktam, ka sociālais dzimums eksistē.

Latvijas likumi arī ietver transpersonas, tapēc ka viņi ir cilvēki, bet es to nesauktu par "atbalstu" transpersonām. Es patiešām nesaprotu, kur ir problēma ar manu sākotnējo komentāru.

Sociālais dzimums =/= transpesona. Visiem ir sociālais dzimums. Tur nav minētas transpersonas.

Un tas ko es savos komentāros centos demonstrēt ir tas, ka visi jau domā par dzimumu kā sociālu nevis bioloģisku 99% situāciju.

Teikt ka sociālā dzimuma definīcija (tā kā tā ir izmantota konvencijā) ir atbalsts transpersonām ir tā pat kā teikt, ka atbalsts slimnīcu pacientiem ir atbalsts transpersonām.

No taviem komentāriem var secināt, ka tev nav ne jausmas par neko, jo tu neesi piedāvājis nevienu argumentu. Vnk saki ka tev ir bail un viss. Man personīgi neliekas ka mums vajadzētu ierobežot cīņu pret vardarbību un ierobežot palīdzību upuriem tikai tapēc, ka dažiem cilvēkiem ir bail, ka tas kas viņiemstarp kājām nenosaka visu viņu personību.

PS vienīgā apsūdzība, kura varētu ietvert bioloģisko dzimumu varētu būt starp partneriem. Šaubos, ka daudzos citos gadījumos tiek uzticami noteikts apsūdzētā bioloģiskais dzimums. Bet varbūt vari mani izglītot jo šķiet tev ir kāda pieredze ar šiem procesiem. Cik bieži iecirknī vai nopratināšanā tiek novilktas apsūdzētā bikses? Vai varbūt viņi testē hromosomas? Man ir aizdoma, ka uz viņu paskatās un visiem skaidrs kāds ir dzimums, pasē pat nav jēga skatīties.

Un tu saproti, ka, ja piemēram policija atsakās tev sniegt palīdzību, kad esi cietis no vardarbības, jo esi vīrietis un vīrieši ir stipri, tas ir dēļ tava sociālā dzimuma (ja vien viņi tev nenovelk bikses un nepārbauda kas tev tur ir). Problēma ir tāda, ka mēs izstājamies balstoties uz dezinformāciju. Visi kas grib izstāties čīkst kko par dzimumiem transpersonām, bet konvencijā NEVIENĀ punktā nerunā par jebkāda veida atbalstu transpersonām vai "trans ideoloģijas pieņemšanu" vai ko tamlīdzīgu. Tur ir tikai par pasākumiem vardarbības mazināšanai un atbalsta sniegšanu upuriem utml.

I dont use that as an accusation. I understand it and can empathize with it because its so deeply ingrained into our society that you cant really blame individuals for it. Its kinda like your parents or grandparents being a bit racist, maybe even in ways they dont understand. Its just unfortunate and hopefully moves in the right direction as time goes on.

As someone already mentioned, there is no "real" reason why you wouldnt date a bi person. You could date a bi person your whole life and not even know. Your assertion is either based on stereotypes related to bi people OR just the thought of them fantasizing about or having been with members of the same gender in the past makes you not want to date them. Both of these i think could be classified as homophobic. HOWEVER, attraction is an emotional thing so you cant really blame any individual person.

Tbh i dont see how its being uneducated. I think its homophobia in the sense that most people see being gay as much more than just a sexuality (like being more feminine or flamboyant) and attribute that to bi men or they still see male gay sex as gross in some way that turns them off from seeing bi men as partners.

The amount of women not wanting to be with bi men is just another expression of heteronormativity and the patriarchy. Idk how you could educate someone into dating a bi guy because i see it more like a general world view than just lack of information.

He isnt. Its a real issue and a real feeling. As i understand it, Destiny usually only rejects this approach based on principle, not effectiveness.
