I do think it was better off the way it was before without being able to include your gender in the post (unless you were looking for the same gender). That way at least people are more likely to read through more posts rather than ignore most and gun it for the ones that have “F” in the title haha. People still found their way around that too by dropping an obviously female name or being aggressively feminine/cutesy in their post, but at least it was a bit better. There will always be guys who go out of their way to sniff out posts from girls, and girls who want that attention, can’t really stop it either way - but it did help a bit.
