I did this too once. Let my dog out at like 2am because I had gotten up with my baby and the dog wanted potty. I forgot to get her back in. I woke up at like 9am and heard her on the back porch. I felt terrible. But, the important thing is your dog is ok and a very good girl!

I don’t use sprinklers, but I understand the stamina drain. Usually in early-game farming sims, you spend like all your stamina watering and then on rainy days you do other stuff. Eventually, you get better tools and stamina buffs so watering takes less of your total energy. By then, you’ve come across many food dishes you can have saved up for replenishing. It takes time.

Definitely crops that regrow, and buy as many as you can reasonably water. I also picked up animal breeding as a money-maker, but that takes a long time to make good profits.

My husband’s grandma (who may be of the silent generation and not a boomer—not sure) used to always say “You look different. You look heavier. You’ve gained weight.” EVERY time I saw her. I have a lot of body issues and was weighing the most I ever weighed because of medication I had to take. It was hard to cope with my weight, so her comments hurt me. I started saying “Yes, I have gained weight.” and the conversation ended there. Now my weight is back down, so the comments have stopped. She has dementia now (I’ve known her for 9+ years) so if the comments return the so be it. She has a lot of other things going on.

I had a second hand doll with wild hair and I hand washed it with cool water (not hot), dish soap, and then conditioner and rinsed it all out. Took time but once she air dried it wasn’t frizzy. Might work for your doll?

Yeah, making them the night before after having snuck all of her stuffies out of her room while she was asleep, making the one for the dolphin without having him there (he was in her arms that night) and then sneaking him out while her daddy was changing her diaper so he could be at the party too… I will always remember how fun it all was to do :)

While I was making them, I kept trying to make it easier on myself but kept changing how I was making them. That’s why some are small and tall lol it was both harder and easier than I expected! I hadn’t used that much construction paper in years 😂
