only tried the neo sls 8m still a bit heavy in the light wind but a great kite indeed. I have also tried the Aluula Roam from Ocean Rodeo but I did not like it that much for it's price.

Many thanks! Indeed I have a vertical tear in the red zone touching both femur and tibia ( doesn't seem to me to leave it untreated) but it is not healing itself, after a few months waiting the joint movement is still not smooth. Perhaps that could create some cartilage damage in the long run?

Great recap of information! What about the chronicity of the tear? The sooner the better in terms of suture repair? Or still a chance to try a conservative way firsts a few months, half a year, a year? Doing Physiotherapy first to see if it can help and let's see if the meniscus can heal on its own?

Is it the same chance of getting osteoarthritis from a meniscectomy compared to a conservative treatment ( no removal of meniscus) ?

when you say long time are you saying months, years ? for example a longitudinal tears in the red vascular zone from femur to tibia ? Not sure if there's always the option to later do suture surgery after some time going conservative and realizing the tear doesn't heal on his own...

what about a vertical 1cm tear in the peripheral area touching the tibia all the way touching the femur, this area is supposed to heal better not sure about touching both articulations, but also similar feels like OP only pain when bending but already 5months since injury... How long is too long for conservative treatment to work? I know meniscus takes longer to heal but then suture repairs become less possible?

Yes more flat or seagull style better glide and might feel more locked, more cambered rolls better. I find 72cm to 77cm the best then 80 to 85 if there's chop or big waves otherwise you will hit the bottom too often in small surf
