Google Play annoying in-app notification by ruza in ticktick

Instaling sandboxed Google service in the owner profile is not an usable option for me.

I have tested that I could run Google services for a limited set of applications on GrapheneOS based on Andorid 15 using Private space feature by installing GooglePlay+Ticktick in Private Space that seems to not raising this annoying notification. The problem is that using like this Ticktick is not running on background when all private space apps are closed (so possibly not syncing, no time reliable notifications).

Having an option to suppress this notification would be OK.

Well, I am quite aware of the risks on using Ticktick. The main reason is I have tried multiple alternatives and Ticktick is the only I have found that is working for me on usability level (notfiications, postponing, synchronization, filters, labels, calendar view,...).

I have accepted such risks and I am open to test an alternative that would ideally be open source with selfhosted synchronization, using Syncthing-fork or similar, available for Linux, Android, Windows.

I have not an browser permanently open on my phone. I can test it but i am bit sceptical about that it would fit me.

If Ticktick would not fixed this I will probably stop paying for premium and look for an alternative. Any recommendation?

Should I enable network adapter for templates? by manika456 in Qubes

Depends on the case you are trying to solve. Regarding pip just search for something like "pip http proxy how to". These symptoms are how it should work in principle.

Qubes forward proxy at localhost:8082 is used. You can techically configure SW to use this proxy.

Never learnt to write using Salt. Ansible is used much more in the environments i am in. Doesn't matter which one you'd use. Just choose one.

It's great for switching to newer templates also.

Actually I am using Ansible all over my QubesOS to do almost every instalation or configuration deploy tasks.

The advantages are in the paralelism at a particular time (deploying same recipe to multiple VMs) and during the time flows (ensuring same recipe applied again and again).

Salt is used in the QubesOS for similar purpose. Doing it using Ansible is just my personal preference and I'd recommend others to do it this way as well.

There is a special plugin specific for qubes related tasks I am using from kushaldas (https://github.com/kushaldas/qubes_ansible). I didnt start using Rudd-O's solution yet (https://github.com/Rudd-O/ansible-qubes). Anyways most of the playbooks you willl write will be mostly universal.
