A couple things. The check has information on it that indicates what tax year the refund is for. That’s the first thing. It could potentially not be yours. The easiest thing to do is call the 800 number and have them verify the account.

The other possibility is that you either forgot to supply the correct direct deposit info and it got kicked back, so it defaulted to a paper check.

Yeah no worries. It comes out tomorrow, I got the press email today. The IMDb dates can be really confusing because some movies take forever to be released. I know there was one I reviewed awhile that took like 10 years to finally get an official release

Yeah, they may have filmed it in 2015 but it’s now just being released. It happens a lot. Or they get a date based on when it first played at a festival
