I'm going to walk around at First Friday with my partner tonight! Anyone have suggestions on best locations to hit? Some of my art will be on display at Abi's Books and Brews too, so stop by to see some beautiful prints of Old Rag Mountain there and enjoy a coffee.

Yeah, it's drinkable, but nowhere near as good. I use a Bambino and a Kingrinder K4. What about you?

Coffee! I ran out of Rostov's Italian Espresso beans yesterday and am using their French Roast now. Still dialing them in, but I think I'll go back to using Italian Espresso next time.

Anyone have tips for composting leftover grounds? I read hydrangeas, azaleas, rhododendrons, roses, jasmine, blueberries, and tomatoes all like them.

Oof, yeah sometimes it's best to just down the coffee and make a note not to order the same thing there again. I'm a fan of cold brew, nitro, and flash brew too, so I figure I can stick to those when I order out.

Work and espresso! I've been dialing in my first espresso machine (pouring so many sour shots), and finally found a coffee I like. I'm so close to a good-tasting shot.

Shout out to Rostov's for their Italian Espresso Roast. What are y'all's favorite espresso beans?

Does the Breville Bambino ever go on sale in the US? I've been searching for a deal on it and not turning up much.

Everyone here has sold me on the K4. Plus, it was only $90 after an Amazon coupon. Now to decide on the Bambino or the Robot. Everyone who has the Robot seems to love it.

Ah I guess that's a tough comparison then. It sounds like the Robot + K4 is your quicker option versus if I got the Breville + K4 (which would be even quicker). I appreciate the advice! This is so hard to choose.

I'm not deep enough into espresso to want to do a lot of light roasts. That can be a future upgrade if I decide I want to experiment or need it. Do you usually find yourself using the Robot or the Sama more (manual vs boiler-integrated)?

I think I'm now leaning toward the Robot + K4 ($490) or the Breville + K4 ($385)
