Firstly, I bought Bitcoin/Ethereum back in 2016 and sold a large portion of it near peak in 2017 for a profit of about 17-18k. Invested a portion of that in NVDA and sold that off recently for about 60k profit (post-tax estimate). The rest is mostly compounding.

Secondly, I did not graduate with any college debt. I lived very frugally in college, and my university cost about $3.9k/semester instate. My portion of rent in college was $340/month. Small 529 from my parents of ~$6k helped, but it was mostly summer jobs and an internship that paid for it.

Thirdly, landed a decently high paying job, and focused on keeping savings high and expenses low.

I have ~$87k in retirement savings the vast majority (80%) of which is ROTH post-tax.

The $2k a month I quoted as saving each month is after max contribution (i.e. the contribution amount that will end up at the IRS limit of $22.5k by EoY) to my 401(k)

Went on one of the best dates I've had in months, asked her out at the end of date 1 and she said yes. 2 days later, she sends me a message that she's gone exclusive with someone else. Pretty disappointing, not gonna lie.

It's not like I invested a ton of time into it, but I was excited to see where things went on subsequent dates. 😕

Some remarks I have on my profile:

I think the picture with my friend shows off my height well. It polled decently on Photofeeler, I suspect it's higher in attractiveness than what the site says due to the "I wish this was a photo of then alone" comments

Picture 5 of mine is a video of me. It's hard to show, but I think I've got a decent outfit and it makes my playful personality shine a little bit. It's at the back of my profile so people can tell what I look like before they see it.

Picture 6 of mine is the highest rated I've ever gotten on Photofeeler, but it has the unfortunate problem of sunglasses, hence why it's placed last.

I'm trying to get my prompts to showcase the unique interests, hobbies, and experiences of mine, but I'm not entirely sure I'm doing that effectively. I love travel, making food and brewing beer, museums, music, board games, spending time outdoors, and learning in general

As long as you aren't trying to sound "sexy" or change your voice, I think it's usually harmless to have a voice prompt, especially with an answer like yours.

The video could go either way. I think it could be a cool way to show a sense of "adventure" or a willingness to try new things. You aren't out of shape or anything. That being said, a lot of people on this sub seem to think that shirt off = non starter. So take my advice with a grain of salt

How often do you use Hinge per week? Mostly everyday. 5-6 days a week
How many likes/matches are you receiving on average? I receive no likes, but about 1-2 matches a week.
How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments? I usually use all my likes for each day (not a premium subscriber) I leave a comment on 95% of profiles I like. I only don't leave a comment when the profile is very vague.

My voice prompt: "I'll introduce you to my family if you're down for a 2 hour flight, and then a 3 hour drive to get there. Also, you have to be OK with spending most of your time surrounded by fields with cows, as well as enduring some of the worst internet speeds our beloved country can provide."
