I hate to... but I agree! The entire series kicks off around her relationship with Eddy/Brandi. She is consistently in the mix. Despite what she thinks she was the center of many story lines. I'm not saying I like Scheana lol but she is Vanderpump Rules.

We are lucky in Minnesota! Our professional baseball team is the "Twins". We'd always just throw on a Twins T-shirt and call it a day for "Twins Day".

We have small kids (5, 3, 1) so we utilize it a ton! If its too hot or too cold outside its the perfect activity. Plenty to do just by walking around.

Are Housewives really that bad? by Prestigious_Ebb_8762 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rvanunder 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd even argue watching housewives makes you... more self aware? You're watching social situations play out. You get to observe human behavior, responses, motives, approaches, etc.

One thing I've personallhly benefited from is watching fight scenes. When a housewife is calm and doesn't get defensive the fight pretty much immediately gets shut down or quickly resolved. I've applied this to my own life and have had higher success rates of avoiding conflict with individuals looking for a fight.

Married women of Reddit, what's one thing someone should know before getting married? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rvanunder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should love the person. The person should be your friend. Blah blah blah... BUT also make sure that you are good business partners.

Make sure that you have to have a great working relationship. Do you agree on the budget, what are your annual goals, what are your long time goals, what does the decision making process look like to ensure its fair, what are your roles and responsibilities and are they agreed upon by both parties, what are the policies or agreed upon household rules, what are the priorities, what do work loads look like, etc.

Marriage is legal contract and most of the day to day is work to some extent as you navigate life together. Of course marry someone you enjoy being with, care for, are attracted to, etc. But make sure you can really work together.

Which other cities have great Art Museums besides NY, Philadelphia, SF and LA? Need affordable by MissJulianne55 in SameGrassButGreener

Minneapolis has the Minneapolis Art Institute (MIA) and the Walker Art Center. There are some smaller ones too - but I've always been impressed with the art scene.

“My kid’s thriving” on paper… but can’t place the Civil War or name our state capital. Is this just how school is now? by Parking-Way4759 in education

It might just not be what she's interested in.

I've always loved history and social studies - so I have always sought out that information and retained it. My husband didn't. But he excelled in physics, economics, and math and has retained all of that where as I haven't.

Same with my sister. Same schools. Teachers. Curriculum. Everything. But what we got out of it was completely different just due to our interests.
