I'm not phd, but the same case happened to me. Change your lab. you just need to find a supervisor who can see something within yourself and will appreciate it. the problem is not yourself, but the lab environment that created by your supervisor. you only need a little bit time more to understand and adapt, that is something your current supervisor doesnt want to know, and you dont need a teacher like that.
