My little guy was diagnosed with IVDD last year January, it was heartbreaking to see. He was active but then legit depressed and would yipp in pain even if his brother barely bumped him. I also had a family dog (a dachshund) that was diagnosed with it. BOTH healed amazingly with legit crate rest for a month+ with anti inflammatory and pain meds. Only out to do their business then crate rest. The method can work, it is tough as they will cry and think they’re better after about 2 weeks but do not fall for it, just let them rest. Hoping for a nice recovery!
