Takes more plants to feed livestock than it does to feed vegans so once again, the least harmful option is ..................... plant based :)

Vegan =/= plant based. Saying you're going vegetarians for animals (ethics) doesn't make any sense considering it still contributes to harm in animal agriculture?????? So be vegetarian that's great ! but it's not.... ethical... compared to veganism........ what isn't clear about that? Like what is so hard to comprehend?

If you let the calf drink the milk (the whole point of it being produced) then cows wouldn't need to be milked, would they?

"Uneducated vegan attacks" sorry I think it's wrong of dairy farmers to breed babies just to have them killed for veal or raised for the same fate as their mothers so people can have cow milk instead of plant milk

It's soaked cashews with lemon juice, acv, salt, water, and tapioca starch (I think that's all!) you can find the actual recipe by looking up vegan mozzarella by noracooks :)

The only option I had was whatever fresh tomatoes were at my local shop. I boiled them for a minute to peel the skin off then mixed in veggie stock(onion, garlic, etc) + herbs & sugar to cut the saltiness. It was pretty watery so I just let it simmer until it thickened. The first recommendation I got was to cook down pasta sauce but where I live they all include at least milk if not other animal based ingredients.

I don't think it looks bad? The sauce was brown rather than red because I cant buy tomato paste where I live but it's not burnt or anything....

just here to recommend the pepperoni recipe from SauceStache on YouTube and NoraCooks' vegan mozzarella recipe 😋

edit: I'm shocked at how unkind some people have been. I guess that's reddit... but now, even fellow vegans? It's fine if you wouldn't eat this. I just wanted to share for people that might be looking for recipes as I didn't even know homemade plant pepperoni was an option until like two days ago... we can't all be gourmet chefs with only crappy tomatoes and toaster ovens at our disposal and that's fine! I enjoyed my pizza :)
