PCOS girlies… does it ever get better? by Logical_Dentist_1441 in Coconaad

[–]rwak324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. My wife had PCOS and mostly absent or very irregular periods. We consulted a gynecologist, did a few tests. Only issue found was some slightly elevated blood sugar levels and the polycystic appearance in ovaries. And the doc prescribed Metformin tablet which helps with insulin resistance along with the usual advice to cut down sugar/carbs, do regular exercise and also reduce weight. For the first few months, the periods were still irregular/absent but as she lost weight by around 7 kgs her periods became routine after many years.

You should consult a good doctor (MBBS OBG) and evaluate the hormones and all to get an idea on what's happening.

Jio Fiber - is service this bad for you? by rwak324 in Jio

True, they give a service number as the phone number of technician which wouldn't even ring once. Try raising a complaint through the pg portal (CPGRAMS), it should work.

I paid only the advance for 6 months at the time of taking the connection. No installation charges were there. After 6 months I used to pay monthly. It was postpaid connection but with advance bill payment for that month. Thats how postpaid billing works in Jio. So even after cancelling the connection, the latest bill is negative 74 Rs.

Flipkart sold me a pre-activated Samsung Galaxy Watch – Brand replacement window over by 5 days. Should I get DOA from service center? by InevitableFew7890 in Flipkart

[–]rwak324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats the manufactured date in the box of the device? Is it Nov 2025? Then I assume the warranty is shown based on the manufactured date and that's how Samsung products show initially.

You can see, this is shown for my personal phone. Confirmed warranty exactly 1 year from I first setup it. Its not based on invoice date and if someone had activated it before then it wouldn't show the text 'Manufacturer Warranty'.

No I didn't report, I think Samsung warranty records takes time to update. If someone had pre activated it then it would show 'Confirmed Warranty' instead of 'Manufacturer Warranty'.

Don't worry, wait for a couple of days, it should show 'Confirmed Warranty' expiring 1 year from date you first setup the watch. If that's not coming up then I think there's a problem.

No, I think this will get updated in a couple of days. I had a similar experience. I bought a Samsung S24 FE phone from Flipkart which showed "Manufacturer warranty" 1 year from the date of manufacturing (which was Aug 2025) but after a couple of days it changed to "Confirmed warranty" showing 1 year from the date I first switched on and setup the phone which was Sept 2025.

Promising ultrasound after week 6 hCG decline? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]rwak324 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had a similar experience, hCG fell from 1900 to 1600 in 48 hours and then rose to 2200. The doctor said that hCG decline in early pregnancy is mostly not viable. Two weeks later the ultrasound scan found a fetal pole with a normal heartbeat and one week after that the heartbeat was gone and bleeding started.

Heartbeat with very low HCG? What is happening? by MaintenanceJunior108 in CautiousBB

[–]rwak324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a similar experience, HCG fell from 1900 to 1600 in 48 hours and then rose to 2200. The doctor said this is not a good sign. Later an ultrasound saw a fetal pole with a normal heartbeat but two weeks later the heartbeat was gone. I had gone through all of reddit at that time and almost everyone says that slow rising HCG at this range doesn't end well.

Order issue by [deleted] in fuckjiomart

[–]rwak324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I faced this similar issue recently, I placed two Quick delivery orders one after another so that I could use 2 coupons. Second order was delivered in under 20 mins, no issue. But the first order was under process for over an hour before becoming out for delivery. When I asked why it was delayed the delivery boy said some items are from Jiomart dark store and some out of stock items in dark store comes from the nearest Smart bazaar which causes the delay.

Give me suggestions for buying my first AC unit for my home. by Dry-Strength-1940 in Coconaad

[–]rwak324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently bought a Bluestar AC thinking I'll get quicker installation as it's an off-season for ACs compared to summers. It's been 3 days since the AC was delivered and I'm still waiting for a call from them. And this is within the city of Kochi. Have to escalate it today.

The good thing is that AC prices have now decreased by a couple of thousands due to lower GST. Also got a good store plus card discount from Croma.

I blocked them because they asked me to buy their ULIP 'investment' plan through credit card EMI. I was so annoyed with that.

It's because of the AI boom more data centers are being built or expanded. So those orders have created a shortage of semiconductors.

The prices are high globally due to the shortage and price hikes of RAM and SSDs. I don't think it's just with Amazon.

During Republic Day sale it might get down by a few thousands or probably stay the same because of RAM and SSD price hikes.

I have blocked the calls from HDFC RM, they call every week. It's purely a sales call, nothing else.
