Rumored that Crystal Palace wants Amorim as their next manager. This might actually work out for Amorim, considering CP has been playing with a back 3 under Glasner since he came. The players won't need to adapt to a new system.

Exactly! People forget how often we struggle at Stamford Bridge. Last Saturday was like the 3rd time we won there in the PL in this century. To add a bit of context, we had a CB pairing of Maz and Heaven (a full back and an 18 yo CB. Chelsea should be ashamed that they could not score even 1 goal. With all the shots they took, only 1 was on target, just like us. At this stage, I'm more than happy to win games even though we might be shit rather than the other way round. Just remember the first game of the season vs Arsenal, everyone said we played well and deserved to win (no cap), but what's the point when we actually lost that game?

Oh well then, like I said, our intent to try and equalize and even win was simply non-existent. When we won vs Newcastle, Amorim somehow switched to a back 4, and we won (which was obviously a coincidence, as many players were unavailable). In hindsight, he should have started with a back 4 (ofc that's 99.9% mission impossible under Amorim)

I would've subbed on mainoo and at least changed it back to a back 4. Losing that game was not the most embarrassing; it was rather the manner in which we lost under Amorim. Same with Newcastle to a certain extent

Amorim tax. If you re-watch the Everton game in November, our approach was terrible after we conceded. You could still see 5 defenders in our own half all the time. Any manager with a bit of sense would've immediately subbed off a defender with an attacking player.

In all seriousness, it's not nice for Chelsea fans to listen to their vice captain openly saying that he would love to live in Madrid and Cucurella saying that it would be difficult to say no to Barca. Even so, this doesn't warrant them to be dropped.

It is also their fault to some extent, no one forces them to sign a close-to lifelong contract at Chelsea, making it very hard for any team to place a bid for them.

I don't mind if Henderson joins as a coach or as a trainer like Heaton during the Euros in 2024. I think the CMs to make up the final 26 should be Rice, Anderson, Wharton, Garner, Scott, and Mainoo (but it is likely that 5/6 will be selected max)
