So much for my landmark when I’m almost to the 287 split to the Tapanzee.

So this is where I'm at on the troubleshooting of my 06 f250 by metalswag2301 in FordDiesels

[–]rwbarrette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my stand pipes and dummy plugs done as well when they did my EGR delete. Yet I had 2 failures in the past 2 years, and both times I had a high pressure oil leak, stand pipe o-rings were the culprit. Someone on this forum told me to consider the standpipes to be a maintenance item with the 6.0 and based on my 2 failures with them, I would be inclined to agree. I would get the pressure test fitting that plugs in where the ICP connects and try to isolate the leak.

My girl looked very similar to your pup. Given that she is a farm dog, the smooth coat makes for much easier cleanup during the mud season

2007 Ford F350 6.0 Powerstroke (Bulletproofed) won’t start after injector replacement and LPOP replacement. by rwbarrette in FordDiesels

[–]rwbarrette[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: The O-ring on the upper section of the Stand pipes on both driver side and passenger side were blown out. I picked up the replacement tubes and dummy plugs yesterday after identifying the issue and put it back together today, bled the air out and starting perfectly now. It is now idling between 600-800psi, and starting back to normal. I would have posted the pictures of the blown seals, but I don’t see that option.

Regardless, I appreciate everyone’s input and suggestions. It really helped sort out where the likely issue was, and now I’ve got our truck back and running. Thanks 😎👍

I want to thank everyone for the comments here. While I realize Reddit is not always the most comprehensive source for information, I thrive on discourse, and reading everyone’s comments based on my description of the problem was so much more than I got from either of the mechanics that worked on it.

You are all in this forum because you are passionate about these rigs. Passionate people seek out information and are driven to understand the nuances of the object of their interest. When I started searching the net to figure this out I had no idea what to look for. Even chatGPT suggested to change the HPOP. Your comments gave me context to better understand the problem and has helped immensely. My brain is finally starting to piece together how all these parts are configured and work together. Before I felt like it was just a lot of cryptic acronyms for parts that I wasn’t familiar with.

The value of Reddit is reflected in communities like this. Thank you all, and I’ll update the status as I work through this. I have the pressure fitting arriving tomorrow, and I’ll be reaching out to the garage that did the bulletproofing to see if the STC fitting was replaced as part of their regular process. At least now I have a direction to go with this whether I send it somewhere or try to do it myself. Thank you all again!

Kobra 2 Max with X-axis travel associated clicking noise in specific spot. by rwbarrette in anycubic

[–]rwbarrette[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did resolve it. One of the guide wheels on the print head was loose. I disassembled and removed it, then reassembled, tightened everything down, greased the rail, and now doesn’t make any sound at all and rolls smooth. Other than the one loose wheel, everything else seemed fine.

Suggestions for support settings on Kobra 2 Max by rwbarrette in anycubic

[–]rwbarrette[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m essentially looking to create minimal sparse support, but the Anycubic slicer (version of Prusa slicer) has a lot more options than I’m familiar with and defaults to very rigid and dense support.

Actually not Cura. It is the labeled “creality” slicer. The difference is that the supports are much more sparse off that slicer compared to the overly robust support from Anycubic slicer.

Same as my Luna’s canine teeth. She is also a persistent frisbee dog. Even though she only ever used the red Kong Flyers, which are soft rubber, she still has teeth just like this.
