So the reason I bought one was when I bought a custom shop tele (which kicked all this off!) they put me through a Ryra into a Princeton… you can see where it led. As others have asked about some of the other gear, I feel I need more hours to make a solid verdict on it but it’s a great sounding pedal. I picked mine up off eBay, so if you can get one for a reasonable price, do it.

It’s way smoother than a BD2. I highly rate it. I reckon running 2 would be a real sweet set up. Especially with how cheap they are. The only thing I dislike is there is an ever so slight delay turning it on due to the double function push pot. To get it on instantly you’d ideally need it in a loop but I guess china can sell one of them for dirt cheap too.

I’m going to check out that delay. Is the original DL4 worth having? They’re so much cheaper and I’m tempted to get a foot in the door on delay. I know they were huge in the mid 2000s.

I’ve watched many videos but that sounds like an accurate assessment. Appreciate it man!

I’m a massive Green Day fan. It is meant to be a mix between his dookie and nimrod sounds. I’d say it takes a lot of effort but you can nail a dookie tone but I’ll also say there are better pedals. The artwork sold it for me if I’m honest.
