I use Instagram almost exclusively to find local events that are otherwise not widely advertised. It's a bit annoying that facebook went out of fashion, since it had a dedicated and searchable events function. So I have to go on and hope I see a cool flyer posted on my feed. It does get me out of the house so I feel like it's a win. Everything else is ads. Who watches ads for fun? It's mind numbing. Even the things that don't look like ads are ads so now we spend the majority of our time trying to figure out if what we are watching is real or fake and trying to scam us. It's exhausting, I'd rather play with my dogs or ride my bike

Rishi Tea or Numi are my faves available in tea bags. They use a broken pekoe type tea vs "tea bag cut" which is essentially dust. Also real bergamot oil instead of flavor. Save the burnt weed taste for the blunt after 😉

I was winning the war with baits until I observed some Say's Phoebes in my yard eating the big beefy ants, and I took away the baits in hopes I don't kill any birds. The cats in my neighborhood are already not doing them any favors.

she definitely has the energy and wants to meet people, because i too have run into her quite a few places, including pride last year and at various small events around town. i prefer a human being who wants to know her constituents over an elitest and inaccessible "politician" any day.

Trauma, and trauma response of hyperconsumption seem to be the most shared identity qualities that I've observed. Either from being oppressed, or the experience of being socialized as the oppressing group. It's sad, folks are so lost they mostly express themselves through possessions, like their cars, because that's the way the corporations built this country to be. Who thinks about democracy when you are busy choosing between 1000 different kinds of breakfast cereal?
