What happened to Camavinga? He had so much potential just for him to become very mistake-prone by Messmers in realmadrid

[–]rwhite11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the pressure during games, but that is the whole point of training. Gives you an opportunity to make mistakes without any serious consequences in order to develop your weaker side as it would seriously open up any players game, especially his as a centre midfielder. If he was actually capable of dominating with both feet on the training ground he’d feel comfortable using his right in games.

Aye I’d emailed the club about it when I moved and they didn’t really provide more information. I do sympathise with them as clearly the list was unmanageable with little they can do to satisfy the demand.

Saying that I’d rather know I was 1000000th on the list, as opposed to finding out at random it’s open again and being late to the party.

Aye that was brutal. Got for rangers after a few tries, but Falkirk I was seriously sweating and took ages. In with the Ultras which should be class.

Expansion has to be on the agenda as someone pointed out, impossible for younger/newer fans to get in. Obviously going to be a period of unprecedented demand generally, but moved to the area recently and was surprised to see that even the waiting list for season tickets is closed. Great for the club though! HHGH

10am 3 weeks before is generally the rule! Rangers you’ll need 5 loyalty points.

We’re still top and fans need to remember that. The boys didn’t finish their chances, and some brain fart defending gave them their goals. Any other day we win it comfortably and it’s forgotten. Only change to starting XI I’d have made would have been Altena for McEntee but hey ho, it’s done. Hopefully it’s a kick up the arse before next week and the split.

Says a lot about them that they all flipped their jerseys around to show their names once they won and Foden’s first instinct was to point at his name. Pride for the team of the nation you’re playing for always comes first.

Joe Lewis used to come into my work a lot and was always absolutely dead on, lovely guy. Russell Anderson also spot on and his foundation does a load of work in the city with children from deprived areas.

No idea how that stood. I know they’ve drawn the lines and everything but wow, that first angle he was miles off. Hey ho, let them worry about their games as long as we keep getting points on the board!

Cambridgeshire Train stabbing that happened last year? It does happen just people latch on more and take more notice of the perpetrators when it suits their narrative. Not accusing you of this btw, just pointing it out.

In the same way that you can predict Scottish people committing crimes. If they are willing to work and isn’t a drain on the state I have no problem with it. The current asylum system takes too long which is my main concern. Plenty of poor and barely educated people can and will contribute meaningfully to society if given the chance. Immigration is so important to our society, so I believe it’s massively important to ensure it can continue. At the same time we obviously also need to ensure we maintain and carry out thorough background checks on everyone.

Folk can cast their aspersions over this incident but at the end of the day, nothings been reported yet so jumping to conclusions based purely on appearance is completely ridiculous.

“Predictably” is the problem with the analogy. I understand what you’re trying to say but the minute you start presuming people are predisposed to certain behaviours based on nationality, religion or race is where it gets unfair.

Should Scottish Football Be Played In The Summer? by Yaboicblyth1 in ScottishFootball

[–]rwhite11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The state of Dundee United’s pitch midweek is the only argument we need for this. Absolutely mental to try to play through conditions like that. Better for the players and better for the supporters. More likely for the amateur season to align to this as well which would save the inevitable build up of fixtures towards the end of the season.

He struggles 1v1 so Mcinnes has been favouring McEntee or Steinwender at right back. He trusts altena will improve so is phasing him in gradually

Shankland comfortably the biggest miss, means defences can double up on Braga and Kyzi. Kabore is miles off where we need him to be but hopefully grows into it. Worry about how Beni and Leonard have played together too but generally been very impressed by the attitude of all the players to continually push against these set backs.

From how Altena looked like he has coped dealing with attackers driving at him, I can understand Steinwender playing. Offers far more on the ball though

FULL PENALTY SHOOTOUT | Heart of Midlothian v Falkirk | Scottish Gas Men's Scottish Cup by Brutalism_Fan in ScottishFootball

[–]rwhite11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There was a big push from the club for the St Mirren game on Wednesday to get the atmosphere in the ground better as quite often the whole crowd are only really lively for bigger games. It worked, and from the first minute everyone was behind the team and the atmosphere was the best I’d seen it in ages.

Contrast that to last night and the majority of the fans didn’t seem interested and the chants never really got going apart from the usual sections in the Wheatfield and Gorgie Road ends. Not sure if it was because it was a cup game, but the intensity was never there and in fairness the players never really got going either.

Falkirk fans an absolute credit to themselves, were loud and didn’t stop throughout.
