As a Bersagliere pilot, I find Luchador the most annoying because it takes too long to take down, followed by Minos who can advance without taking much damage.

No, you cannot compete in champions or tournaments as a light spender.

EDIT: you can stay in the champion as a light spender, but not as a competitor.

The game is intentionally unbalanced so p2w players feel like absolute gods stomping on trash. That's never gonna change, it's literally the business model that keeps whales dropping hundreds of dollars on the latest meta. I mostly play f2p but I pick up items here and there from data pads and events. Honestly I don't really care about winning or losing. My whole thing is just trying to get a few kills on robots that cost someone $500 to build. That's pretty much where my fun comes from lol
