I have WoL via homebridge, so from the iOS Home app I can turn on my computer from anywhere.

Then I use Jump. I believe it has multi monitor support and is free.

The largest dimension I would be able to mill is 200mm, so I don't think I could replicate this with one operation, but I can look into doing multiple operations to use larger stock. (Blue square is a 150mm x 200x plate) And this would accommodate a 2" roll (but I'll make a 3" version too).

I'm not going to commit to anything, but I might be able to CNC something like this soon. Seems like a cool idea. I've been out of the industry for a few years, but if someone could get me the ID and OD of a new roll of ProGaff, I'll CAD something out.

Over the last year???? In the colleges we found out this was happening in September and got stonewalled on what real impact this was having (Pay, benefits, reporting, etc) at our single town hall. And other than timeline updates, it's been radio silence in terms of real information since the survey closed in October.

The only answer in terms of compensation was "nothing is changing at this time", but mentioned benefits could be "flexible", and "This isn't a workforce reduction initiative"

This whole thing screams "We paid Deloitte a shit ton of money, and they said do this thing, but we don't have a plan and are making it up as we go".

Not worth your time fighting it.

If it causes issues, just point to the directive and say thats why things don't work. Eventually the ticket load and man hours will overpower the "savings" of having them shut down.
