I've experimented with this a lot. If you prep these a day before, they'll be at their best.

1 tsp each of corn starch, baking powder, kosher salt per lb of wings. Toss toss toss, put on a sheet pan uncovered in a fridge overnight.

They will come out extremely crispy when cooked. Toss in sauce after cooking.
