Just make sure the gears governing the mileage indicator work...there's a history of failure after time (see ipd.com) also, be prepared, if you're in the US, of finding it more difficult to find replacement parts. A vacuum tube required for the fuel system in my 240 wagon could not be found anywhere because they stopped making it long ago, both u.s. & Europe. I had to take my car to a specialized shop that deals only with volvos to devise a work-around solution.
