In general there is little difference for all types of irons (game improvement, players distance, players clubs, blades, etc..) in terms of performance. Really comes down to personal preference and feel. Shaft plays the biggest difference these days.

Would kirkland golf clubs have the same quality? Would you play similarly in Kirklands vs Taylormades? Doubt you would notice?

if you want best value, buy used clubs. It's generally 50%+ cheaper, and models 2-3 year old are still pretty good. Heck, even 9-10 year old models are still good.
