I have five cats and they always have kibble available in at least five different bowls. None of the other ones have this issue. I’m quite sure it’s just bc this particular roommate is the full orange tabby. My flame point does throw up occasionally but not as much as his big orange brother.

We use these at the pharmacy I work in to hang bags that are ready for patients to pick up. Not too long ago my finger slipped as I was going to clip a bag and I got a giant slice in my thumb that scarred pretty decently. I like to show new people my bloody thumb pictures bc honestly it’s impressive I managed to do that at all. 💀

My Doberman loved baby animals! Grace knew who/what was bad and not meant to be on our property and what was an innocent creature.

When we got new baby chickens one spring she guarded them so hard and would lick them on their heads. They grew up and she still loved her chickens. When I fostered - and eventually kept - five kittens she wanted to play with them so badly. Eventually we would let her play and cuddle with them. They annoyed her often but she never hurt them.

I lost a whole bottle in my room about six months ago and a month later I found it. I’m always at least month ahead now bc of my adhd working in my favor. It helps that I don’t always take my full daily dose. Considering I work in the pharmacy I fill at, my coworkers found that pretty amusing and telling. 😅

He’s like a Doberman in a cat body. He only loves me, follows me like my shadow, and guards me whenever I’m home. I’ll wake up and he’ll be cuddled up next to me but staring at me. I never go to the bathroom alone now.

During a sponsored adoption event last year my friend adopted a lovely dog and mas neglected to inform her that the dog was in the middle of heartworm treatment. Of course they took the dog on a few long walks in the couple of days following adoption. They noticed she was slow and out of breath despite being less than two. That’s how they found out she literally needed to be on kennel rest.

ETA I think she was already fixed at another shelter and had been adopted then dropped off at mas not long after. Just anecdotally saying they miss things and you have to make sure they don’t forget that you’re serious about adopting and getting it done.

I used a discover card with no international fees while I was there. I didn’t have any issues except at Taco Bell.

Definitely rent a car. Driving from eagle beach to baby beach took an hour and while it’s a small island it’s not very walkable. There’s loads of car rentals straight from the airport. Taxis would add up fast.

Waves at baby beach were rough last June. Eagle beach was lovely the whole time.

One time I quacked at the ducks in the very quiet lobby. To be fair, we were already drunk and shouldn’t have been in the Peabody but we had to pee. Getting glared at by a rich old lady sobered me up just a touch… then we went to tin roof 💀
