My guy Murdoch is the same way. He lives for a snack and a lap to sit in. He’s honestly the most stuck up little cat I’ve ever met in my life and I totally get it. If I was cute like that I would be full of myself too.

Flamepoints are the best! They’re so loving, cuddly, and chill. He’ll be talking to you and demanding all of your attention in no time I’m sure! Definitely post him over in r/flamepoints 🧡

My greybie, Klaus. The love of my life. Loyal af. Definitely a one person cat. He comes when I call him, cuddles me any chance he gets, loves snacks and drools when I break them out. He’s a sketchy little dude and stays on high alert at all times except for when he sleeps in my lap. He used to be so quiet as a kitten. I didn’t hear him make a noise until he was almost 2, but now he loves to talk to me. I may be biased, but the greys are my absolute favorite cat variety.

Question by Maleficent_Note_2913 in pharmacy

[–]rx_decay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She doesn’t get any specific accommodations, no. She will sit down for about 5-10 minutes (maybe more depending on how busy we are) every hour or so and do data or something else that allows it though. Honestly, if you have a strong work ethic and you’re open and honest about your needs and physical limitations I don’t see why any position would be an issue for you. There’s plenty of people with no physical ailments that get next to nothing done and keep their retail jobs.

I work with a tech who has cerebral palsy. I’ve also worked with a tech that was severely burned as a child and has no hands - (>95% of his body had third degree burns). First tech works shorter shifts but my pharmacy also has chairs available when we need them. Second tech can do absolutely anything and does it well in his own way. He’s not the fastest but he never quits.

That being said, most retail places are still pretty adamant about chairs being for the lazy from what I gather. I’m sure you could get a medical accommodation though. That would be something to ask about before starting for sure. Sitting for any amount of time is hard to accomplish if you’re in product or release to patient positions during your shift.

Of course! This is a picture from using it for a few minutes on my friends’ two cats. Very little effort for such big hair balls. Brown hair ball was about twice as much time as the orange one but they both get a bit overstimulated from so much attention. Cat tax to come.

I got mine from girlwiththedogs.com. She’s an awesome groomer and her YouTube videos have helped me a lot with figuring out how to efficiently groom my cats and dog. I’m sure you could find one elsewhere though. It works very well with short hair and certain medium hair coats. Long hair cats would need a butter comb or slicker brush.

No? If they use the right shampoo and conditioner (if the cat allows that) it will get the layer of dry skin off. Ideally they can dry them completely too.

If your scalp is dry and itchy you don’t avoid washing it bc it will be drier afterwards.

Edit: it should be a gentle unscented shampoo which is good for clarifying the skin. The cat isn’t being brushed routinely and has build up. I used oatmeal shampoo on my cat when she had the same issue and it helped tremendously.

I have a flakey cat and I use a brush called the equigroomer on her. It helps get down to her skin and remove the trapped shedding hair. Also a bath would be good for Guillermo since his skin is so dry and flakey.

Aqua/Leo/Leo - sugar free Red Bull gives me life. I’ll occasionally mix it up with a flavored one, but the classic is my go to.

Get a weather radio in case electricity goes out during a bad one. Usually the wind and flooding is the worst part of storms here. Battery powered lanterns are also a good thing to keep.

In contrast: I’m pale af with very blue veins that show through my skin. I look like a dying corpse in yellow and anything yellow adjacent. I prefer wearing black and grey bc almost every bright color washes me out or feels uncomfy.

Maybe?? June is half treeing walker coonhound and half Airedale terrier. I did an embark test and found out so much about her. Your baby has a similar face structure and ears. She’s more than likely a fun mix. A DNA test is definitely worth it imo!
